One of the greatest athletes of the 20th century and the only 3 time lineal heavyweight champion (1964, 1974, 1978) in history. He was inspiring and certainly controversial. Known for trash talking his opponents (mostly while promoting his fights) and being a conscientious objector during the Vietnam war, he spoke out often against racism and religious tyranny. He bragged frequently with famous quotes like “it is hard to be humble when you are as great as I am”. This endeared him to the media and to people all over the world. With all his controversy, he was one thing for sure…the beautiful fighter.
