Painting Details:

24×24″, oil, .5″ canvas, suitable for framing

Description:

Finished this oil painting while listening to the melancholy mystical tune, “Dear Prudence” (24×24). Evidently, the Prudence that John Lennon wrote this song about was Mia Farrow’s sister. Lennon wrote it to cheer her up at a spiritual retreat and it evidently worked for her…and The Beatles. So I hope, if you are feeling a little down, that this painting might yield a little of that same magic for you. 😊

Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play?
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It’s beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play?
