My sentimental journey back to the 70’s continues. This painting is titled and inspired by one of the most fascinating love songs of my era. It was released by the amazing Billy Joel in 1977. It won Grammy’s for song of the year and record of the year in 1979.
The honest-to-the-heart lyrics are as alluring as the music:
I don’t want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I love you just the way you are
